Kazakh-British Technical University
It focuses on the training of professionals for the crucial sectors of the economy: oil and gas industry, information and finances. The idea of creation of Kazakh-British Technical University belongs to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The head of state held a series of negotiations and meetings with officials from the UK, as a result of which was drawn up a Memorandum of understanding between the two countries, signed in November 2000.

Kazakhstan Institute of Management Economics and Strategy Research
KIMEP is the oldest and largest University, working on the North American model of education in Central Asia. The University was formed in 1992. Currently KIMEP University offers the plethora of programs, including undergraduate programs in business administration, Economics, political science, public administration and journalism; graduate and doctoral. In addition, KIMEP University offers the MBA program for executives and a broad range of certificate programs and short courses.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
KazNU is the oldest classical University of the Republic, organized in 1933. For 76 years of its activity the University has made a great contribution to the formation and development of the economy, political life, culture, science and education in multinational Kazakhstan and became a stronghold of the entire system of the high schools in the country. It remains the largest smithy of highly qualified human resources, one of the main centers of research work in the Republic.
